Test transmissions have been conducted in Warszawa and Wrocław and have trialled DAB+ and DMB TV. While the tests in Wrocław have ceased, the Warszawa tests were still in progress as of 11.02.2011.
The national public broadcaster Polskie Radio and four regional public radio stations (Radio Wroclaw, Radio Gdansk, Radio Poznan and Radio dla Ciebie), are preparing the launch of a DAB+ public multiplex. The intention is to broadcast in the four cities where the Euro 2012 football matches will be played - Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Poznan.
While no decision has yet been taken on a full public service, it is highly unlikely that "original-flavour" DAB would be used in any roll-out across the country. Wohnort recommends that you buy a receiver that is DAB+ capable if you intend to use it in this country. You may wish to consider a receiver that will also receive DMB if you feel you would be likely to use any mobile TV services in the future.

Since the above Snapshot was taken, the test transmissions in Wrocław have ceased. Although the above Snapshot shows only DAB+ services, DMB (TV) services were also tested during the course of the trials.
