There are currently no DAB transmissions in Croatia. Test transmissions were conducted for several years from Mnt. Sljeme, but these have ceased. All digital radio broadcasting to date has used "original flavour" DAB in Band III. However, any full-scale rollout of DAB would be unlikely to use this version. Wohnort recommends that you buy a receiver that is DAB+ capable if you wish to take it to other countries and to future-proof your purchase. With sufficient Band III resources available for future expansion, and so few L-band receivers in the marketplace, a future rollout using L-band must be considered relatively unlikely.
Wiesbaden Plan:
Croatia is allocated 12A, 12B, 12C, 12D in Band III and LA, LB, LC, LD, LE and LF in L-band.
