The media regulator in the french-speaking region of Belgium, the CSA, has launched a consultation on the future deployment of DAB+. The basis of the consultation is the "hypothetical" launch of a full service of private and public DAB+ services, broadcasting on Blocks 11B and 12B to the entire French-speaking region and on provincial multiplexes:-
Belgium is testing DAB+. Four services have popped up on the Block 12B ensemble RTBF DAB, using different combinations of bitrates and protection levels.
